Join us as walk through the text with Abraham and consider God’s faithfulness to our sinful father in the faith.

We consider the story of Lot’s deliverance from God’s righteous judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah. What led Lot to this point, and what does that spell for the future? Do he and his descendants finally escape judgment, or succumb to a similar fate?

The Lord visits Abraham, and Sarah is told she will have a son in about a year’s time. Meanwhile, Lot’s city is under judgement and Abraham intercedes on its behalf. For the sake of a mere 10 righteous, the Lord will spare the city. And yet, ten cannot be found! Listen in as we begin to discuss what happens and why.

This morning Pastor Tony led us through Genesis 17. There is so much to consider in terms of Covenant signs, administration, fulfillment, etc.

Sometimes the Bible surprises us by holding up a mirror and showing us ourselves. This morning we considered the next chapter in Abram’s struggle of faith and dove deep into parenting, doubts, and our attempts to “help God’s plans along.”

We continued on in Genesis this morning, considering what it meant for the Lord to accept the covenant curses himself .

Our Sunday School Series continues in Genesis. Mankind has gathered together to build a tower. Surely it is magnificent and grand and yet the Lord “comes down” to view the pinnacle of human success!
