Matthew 10:26–33

One of the most frequently repeated commands in the Bible is, “Do not fear.” Here in the midst of instructions with frightening aspects Jesus pauses to give us four reasons not to fear our persecutors: (1) what is hidden will be revealed; (2) they can only kill the body; (3) you are of more value than sparrows; and (4) Jesus will acknowledge you. Join us as we carefully consider both the challenge and the comfort of Jesus’ words in this paragraph.
